A registered Professional Engineer in Texas & Louisiana and a Certified Floodplain Manager, Jim has been serving clients including TxDOT, Harris County, Fort Bend County, HCFCD, HCTRA, METRO, City of Houston, City of Sugar Land, USACE MVN, LaDOTD, and LaCPRA on a variety of infrastructure projects. With nearly two decades of experience in drainage study and design, H&H modeling utilizing advanced 1D and 2D tools, and stormwater management, Jim is a highly skilled Civil Engineer and H&H Modeler. In 2023, Jim co-founded Krest Engineers, LLC to meet the ever-increasing engineering needs with quality products. In his spare time, Jim enjoys hiking and working on his H&H blog (www.rashms.com) to share his experience and knowledge with fellow engineers.
Sahas Shrestha, P.E., CFM, ENV SP, is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and Louisiana, a Certified Floodplain Manager, and an Envision Sustainability Professional with extensive experience in hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, and flood risk management. He has served clients including TxDOT, Harris County, Fort Bend County, Harris County Flood Control District, the City of Houston, the City of Katy, LaDOTD, and the City of Lafayette. Sahas specializes in H&H numerical modeling, floodplain modeling and mapping, open channel and watershed studies, detention basin and culvert design, floodplain studies, flood risk analyses, and mitigation planning. His work has supported transportation, municipal drainage, and flood mitigation projects across Texas and Louisiana. In 2023, Sahas co-founded Krest Engineers, LLC to provide civil infrastructure engineering, H&H modeling, drainage design, and project management services to public and private sector clients across Texas. As Vice President and Owner, he helps lead the firm's technical delivery, client service, business development, and strategic growth.
A registered Professional Engineer in Texas and Arizona with over a decade of experience in civil engineering, Prakash specializes in petrochemical and energy, site development, land development, traffic impact analysis, and USACE tactical infrastructures. With a proven track record of designing and managing successful infrastructure projects in Texas and Arizona, Prakash is highly skilled in his field as a visionary Project Manager.
